I'm not too different from practically every Indian girl who came from the sunny, coastal, very brown town of Durban- we crave bright colours, loud parties, good food, and drama drama drama. To me, that sounds like the perfect recipe for a big fat Indian wedding!
However, trying to plan said big fat Indian wedding in Durban has been the cause of many a Bridezilla's biryani hitting the roof- so I set out to make your journey a little easier by documenting mine :) I got married in April 2019, after an entire year of wedding planning! My wedding was DIY , very hands on, and full of fun... and I reaslised, after documenting my journey, that it was a source of inspiration for many new bride to be's in Durban.
